Alexandre Ale de Basseville
Milan
Fascinated by arts, it is at the age of 15 that he decides to join the one who revolutionised the contemporary art. It is then that he learns the bases of Pop Art, thanks to the photography, to the painting, filmography or sculpture under Andy Warhol’s wise advice, up to the age of 17, when he flies to Milan. It is at the school of art of Milan that he meets the one who is considered as the last surrealist: Lucchi Renato Chiesa. His first exhibitions as a paintor, organized by a big New Yorker agent will make him famous all around the world at the age of 18. These various experiences allowed him to be recognized amongst others by the Metropolitan Museum of New York and experts from the world of arts. Some of his photos become legendary in some fashion & trend magazines and will place him among favorites.
Fashion
Having shared the universe of the sewing with his grandmother, one of the leaders of a well known French brand, it is with Claude Montana that he discovers a quite particular charm to the fashion design. He will experiment in particular the painting on leather. Jarl Alé will push up this method up to the extreme by realizing sculptures on fabric.
Afterwards, he will develop this sensibility between these two universes by observing the emergence of the role of art director and creative director. He then navigates between trends and fashion within several major French and international groups.
Los Angeles
He moved to Los Angeles in the early 2000 with the aim to create his own photo studio and fully assume its role as artistic director. There he meets a special woman, Rosanna Arquette, with whom he co-produced the movie "Searching for Debra Winger". A friendship was born without borders between these two people who today consider themselves as brothers and sisters of soul.
He also met Hollywood stars such as Jane Fonda, Laura Dern, Salma Hayek, Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, Brad Pitt etc ... Also within the music scene where he met the Guns & Roses, Michael Jackson, Korn, Marilyn Manson, Christina Aguilera, Pink, etc ...
NGOs and associations sector is an integral part of his life. He was carried away by the speeches of Elizabeth Taylor and was, at the age of 19, engaged in the fight against AIDS by making painting happenings intended to represent the violence of the disease (AIDS) and harvest funds.
His mobilization continues today around another equally important cause: provide work and education to girls and women in some developing countries: “Womanity”, represented by Mr. Yann Borgstedt.
France
He is now decided to get politically involved in France, his country, in a Europe of culture and tradition for which he considers himself as a representative through his charisma and his manner Viking. Affected by a genetic disease, Jarl Alé is disabled and he understands the need to fight for the construction of special infrastructures and improve the life and integration of disabled people.
The energy of the mind is the essence of life.
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
The noblest pleasure is the joy of understanding.
